How to Host a Workshop
Jennifer Steward has taught hundreds of parents nationwide, the joys of teaching
using living books and notebooks! She shows in a very down to earth and practical
manner how parents can develop a true love for learning with their children instead
of just going through the motions “doing school” through her popular workshops.
You can bring Jennifer to your area to conduct a workshop. All you need to do is
contact us, find a facility and set the date - we do the rest! We literally bring
the workshop to town! Once we have this part figured out, we will provide a flyer
for you to circulate by handing out at homeschool events, put it in an upcoming
newsletter, send via email etc.
Requirements - we need a solid 25 registrants in order to travel to your location.
We’ll need a facility where we can hold the workshop (a church fellowship hall,
a restaurant banquet room, a library room, a community hall) Even if you have a
large homeschool group, it is unlikely that you will get 25 registrants from your
group to come, so it is always a good idea to spread the word and let other groups
(within about a 2 hour driving zone) know about the event!
Fees - Our fee is $40 per registrant for a full day workshop (9:00 - 4:00) or $30
for a half day workshop 4-5 hours
We don’t teach you how to do it then leave you high and dry! We always bring our
full line of unit study books, guides, and resources so you can shop!
Hostess - our hostesses become our “cheerleaders” telling every homeschool parent
they meet about this encouraging event. As our hostess we invite you to come for
FREE and, depending on the number of registrants that come, we give you a gift certificate
so you can shop from our Steward Ship materials!
Workshops Available
- Developing a Love for Learning through Unit Studies - Jennifer dispels
the myths associated with unit studies and prefers to call it interactive learning.
She lays the foundation for why and how this method works. You will walk away from
this day encouraged and inspired and REALLY understanding that you CAN do it! Registrants
will make a notebook to take home as Jennifer shows how you can teach most subjects
to varying age levels using one topic!
- Learnin’ How to Liven’ Up the Learnin’ - This workshop has 4 sessions:

I See One? 3) Money Saving Ideas, Tips -N- Tales 4) Making a Flapbook -
- Flapbook Workshop - This 3 hour workshop is the how to of Flapbooks. Registrants
will make a flapbook to take home - $20
